This delightful holiday home boasts a tranquil, rural setting, 4 miles from the market town of Tinahely. Sleeping eight guests, the spacious property is perfect for groups of friends and large families, with a choice of social spaces both indoors and outside. There are some fabulous walks to explore nearby, including the enchanting trail to Coolalingo Waterfall (11.5 miles), or further afield discover the wild, rugged landscape of the Wicklow Mountains (approx. 20 miles).

The detached lodge is deceptively spacious and is decorated and furnished in a traditional, country-cottage style. At the heart of the home is a bright and airy kitchen/diner with dual-aspect windows and all the equipment needed to cater for a large group. Gather here for memorable mealtimes around the large, farmhouse-style dining table. In the evenings, get cosy in the welcoming lounge with its roaring open fire and Sky TV, or relax in the snug area to read a book in the glow of the wood burner. A pretty double bedroom and a handy shower room complete the ground floor. The remaining bedrooms are upstairs, one of which has an en-suite shower room. A stylish family bathroom rounds off this rural retreat. Outside, extensive, private grounds envelop the property, with a partially enclosed garden area, patio and furniture for outdoor entertaining.

The charming market town of Tinahely has a good range of restaurants and coffee shops, as well as traditional pubs with live music. The town also has a thriving arts centre – be sure to check out its diary during your stay. The long-distance Wicklow Way passes through the town, offering fantastic walking opportunities. You’ll also find pretty, woodland trails through Tomnafinnoge Oak Woods. For a day at the seaside, journey 27 miles to the vast, sandy beaches of Brittas Bay.
