Head 3 miles in the opposite direction and you’ll reach Fethard-on-Sea, a small coastal village with welcoming pubs, restaurants and more magnificent beaches, while 6 miles south, Hook Lighthouse – the oldest intact operational lighthouse in the world – is a must-see.
