Lace up your hiking boots and hike the Ox Mountains, which are only 5 miles away. Or explore the breath-taking scenery of Lough Talt (7.5 miles), where you’ll find hidden sculptures and unique art trails scattered throughout the woodland around the lake.

Step inside this tastefully renovated cottage and you’ll be greeted by a cheerful open-plan living area. Slip onto a sofa and make yourself at home before heading to the brick and beamed kitchen to rustle up a hearty meal for your loved ones on the range-style cooker. Gather everyone around the dining table to eat while you enjoy the lovely garden views. After dinner, head back to the living area to watch your favourite TV shows.
