Description
Ideally located for adventures on the coast and in the countryside, this modern lodge is a fantastic base for couples or small families searching for a revitalising getaway. Featuring a charming wood burner in the open-plan living space, this property encourages guests to kick back and unwind at the end of each day. Just 6 miles away you’ll find the beach of Cromane Strand where endless hours of fun can be had splashing in the waters or soaking up the seaside experience whilst sitting on the golden sands.
The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is light, bright and welcoming with hues of purple adding an accent to the neutrally decorated area. Here you can sprawl out on the chaise corner sofa and armchair, or sit up at the dinner table and play board games late into the night. The kitchen area has been finished to a high standard, lit by a large skylight window with plenty of space to both store and prepare for mealtimes. At bedtime, take your pick from one of the two tastefully decorated double bedrooms which boast en-suite shower rooms for added privacy. The garden area outside offers a space for you to relax surrounded by natural beauty with sweeping views over the farmland and garden furniture for comfort.
Further afield, visit the Dingle Peninsula (13 miles) for rugged walks along the coastline or to take a tour of the majestic beaches found in this part of the world. 16 miles away, you’ll find Killarney National Park where there is a wealth of options for outdoor activities from pony trekking and fishing to kayaking and climbing. Whilst you’re here, spend time visiting the Lakes of Killarney where you can hop aboard a boat trip on Lough Leane from Ross Castle and learn all about the local history whilst enjoying the scenery.
