Description

This cosy, traditional property, set in a quiet country lane, is the perfect base from which to explore the splendour of southwest Ireland’s rugged coast and mountains. Sleeping seven guests, and with shops, pubs and restaurants in the colourful town of Kenmare, just 2 miles away, it is ideal for a family or group of friends. Long-distance walking trails, part of the Wild Atlantic Way, converge on Kenmare, and you can drive or take a tour bus for a spectacular ride along the famous Ring of Kerry. Head to Kenmare’s adventure centre, Star Outdoors, for thrilling water sports and boat cruises around Kenmare Bay. Family-run Dromquinna Stables (3 miles) offers peaceful horse riding for all abilities.

White stone walls and ceiling beams set a welcoming scene in the lounge/diner, with a fine period fireplace, comfortable sofas and a traditional rocking chair, as well as a TV and dining table. Large patio doors open onto the garden, and the country-style kitchen features a handy dining nook. The ground floor also houses a delightful king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. A spiral stairway leads to two pretty bedrooms: a double plus a single bed, and a double with a shower room.

Very tastefully restored cottage in a lovely secluded location just 20 minute stroll into busy Kenmare town Ideal for family 5 adults +2 kids + 2 pets

Mr L,

This is a charming cottage with everything you could need for a perfect relaxing holiday. Very quiet and private. Ideal location for beautiful walks. The owner left a bottle of wine, some fruit, cheese and brown bread. A lovely touch. We would highly recommend this property to our family and friends. We had an amazing relaxing week just what we needed. Thank you Christine.

Mrs L,

Great place lovely and comfortable everything u need is there

Mr M,

This is a most lovely, comfortable welcoming place to stay. Lots of hot water very clean and everything you could wish for for a perfect relaxing holiday. There was a welcome bottle of wine and several other gifts that were really thoughtful and most kind of the owner. This is our second stay at Cooper's so that says it all really!!

Mrs K,

The cottage was ideal to unwind and relax. No nosey neighbours, only the gentle mooing of bullock's and clrgrazing in the adjoining fields. Cottage was extremely comfy and clean.
