Description

Set on a hillside on the Wild Atlantic Way, this stylish cottage boasts sublime views over Dingle Bay and the sandy shores of Inch Strand. Sleeping seven guests in three bedrooms, this idyllic abode is ideal for families and groups of friends seeking a tranquil base close to the amenities and attractions of the Dingle Peninsula. From vibrant Dingle Town to a wealth of cultural landmarks and natural wonders, there’s plenty here to fill your days.

Laid out over a single storey, this cottage is spacious yet cosy, and was designed to make the most of the glorious views. Jutting out at the front of the building with windows on three sides, the lounge/diner has uninterrupted views over the beach and across the bay. Throw the patio doors open in warm weather or light the open fire on chilly days and sink into the comfy chairs with a cuppa to appreciate your surroundings. This room also has a bench dining table and a long sofa for cosy nights in front of the TV. The fitted kitchen has ample space and amenities for preparing food at home, along with a breakfast bar in front of the window. Along the hall, three comfortable bedrooms invite a restful night’s sleep, one room with a double and a single bed, one twin room and one triple room. A shower room with WC and a separate WC complete the interior, while outside the property benefits from a sloping lawned garden and a patio with a picnic bench.

Wander out from your front door to stroll to the beach, or meander along the coastline watching for birds. The region offers a wealth of walking trails, including the Dingle Way and Glanteenassig Forest Park (15 miles), while the charming fishing town of Dingle boasts independent boutiques, galleries and eateries, plus a friendly dolphin and a very warm Irish welcome.

We felt very much at home here and hope to be able to come back at some point. The house has a friendly lived in vibe and the view from (all!) windows and the terrace is simply amazing. The beach is perfect for swimming and water sports. There are nice walks and interesting things to do in the area but we also spent a lot of time just watching the bay and wildlife with the binoculars provided.

What a treat to get to stay in Ceol na Mara. The house has the most enviable views, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean as it meets Inch Beach. We sat on the deck chairs outside, a real sun trap, and lapped up these amazing views. The house itself is so comfortable, has everything you need for a throughly enjoyable stay. A real home away from home , but with better views! Our host couldnt be nicer. She even left fresh local flowers out for arrival throughout the house. We would love to return to Ceol na Mara again.
