Description
This pretty single-storey property by the magical Kerry coast offers a beautiful base surrounded by peaceful countryside, yet within reach of attractions and amenities. You’re ideally located for fishing, surfing, walking, cycling, horse riding, kayaking, sailing, canoeing, hang gliding or mountain climbing. Plan an excursion to the iconic MacGillycuddy Reeks (28 miles), or stay close to home and explore the wonderful coastline.
Step inside to unwind in this homely, welcoming lodge. The farmhouse-style kitchen/diner, with a welcome pack on arrival, is a well-equipped space with plenty of storage for your supplies, and a utility space for convenience during your stay. Settle down in the comfortable lounge area in front of the Smart TV, with the open fire crackling away. The property has three bedrooms: a king-size, a double and a twin room. Completing the accommodation is a shower room and a bathroom. The garden is a wonderful space with a BBQ so you can enjoy dining outside in the fresh air. There is storage space out here for cycles, surfboards and other equipment, and private parking.
Spend a day lazing on the pristine sands of Rossbeigh Beach (2 miles) or tee-off at one of Ireland's most scenic golf courses, Dooks Golf Club (4 miles). The picturesque village of Glenbeigh is a mile away, while Kerry Bog Village Museum and Caragh Lake, home of renowned artists Pauline Bewick and daughter Poppy, are both under 5 miles. The local area has lovely places to dine out, with Emily’s Bakery and Pizzas, The Olde Glenbeigh Hotel (one of Ireland’s oldest hotels), and its sister restaurant, Jack’s Coast Yard Restaurant, all within 5 miles. Spend a day at Kells Bay House and Gardens (boasting the longest rope bridge in Ireland), or discover The Moorings in Portmagee (a Star Wars filming location).
