The chocolate-box cottage has instant curb appeal with a lovely lawn out front, a whitewashed facade and a striking painted red door – step inside and feel instantly at home. Everything’s laid out on a single storey and there’s an additional garden space enclosed at the back. At the heart of the house, a lounge/diner offers an oil-fired wood burner with snug seating and a dining table positioned around, creating a truly inviting space to unwind come the evening. The sofa doubles up as a sofa bed for additional sleeping space in here. Next door, the kitchen is on-hand with space for meal prep and a family bathroom is just down the hallway. Finally, a double and a single bedroom await restful nights.

Truly picturesque, the port village of Kinvarra is 2 miles away, accessible via a scenic route along the sea. Reviews

Had an excellent stay at Mickey’s Cottage - lovely and cosy, great location just outside Kinvara. Owner was lovely and came to show us around when we arrived. Highly recommend.

Mr D,

The cottage was cozy and a convenient location, everything we needed was there. The owner was wonderful. Would stay there again.

Ms S,

The cottage being just off the N67 is ideal for exploring not just the local area but south to bunratty castle and folk park and the Cliffs of moher. North to Galway city too. The owner was so helpful and came down straight away when I had trouble working the oil stove. I travel alone and would recommend this cottage to solo travellers and couples.

Mr M,

Very charming and comfortable old cottage. Lots of interesting places to visit in the area. Kinvarra is a very friendly village. Car essential.

Mr D,

A great little find. Ideal for a quiet getaway, Kinvarra only a few minutes away with plenty of facilities, and a choice of beaches nearby for a walk or swim. Exactly what we wanted, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Mr H,

Loved the outside space. I had five weeks when I was able to sit out and eat alfresco. Kinvara is a friendly and lively town with lots to see and do. Music and the arts are central to the life of the community. Loved it
