Description

Stunning scenery comes as standard at this commanding Inishowen Peninsula property. Spacious and pet-friendly, it has a two-bedroom, two-bathroom layout ideal for a small family or party of friends, and is only 6 miles from the pretty town of Moville.

Sitting within its own grounds and surrounded by countryside, this charming property has huge kerb appeal. Step through the spacious hallway and the warm welcome continues, with the stylish open-plan kitchen/sitting/dining room sure to be a hub for your holiday fun. Complete with all the self-catering essentials and with lovely views of the landscape beyond, this is a space in which you can cook and chill companionably. With windows on three sides, the sitting room has plenty of talking points; settle down before the wood burner for laid-back evenings with a favourite movie on the TV. As bedtime approaches, two peaceful rooms await; one has a double bed and en-suite shower room, the other has two single beds, while a second bathroom completes the comfort for all. For sunshine, fresh air and far-reaching views, simply stroll around the garden – there’s plenty of parking space here too.

Almost entirely surrounded by sea and tapering towards Ireland’s most northerly point at Malin Head (22 miles), the Inishowen Peninsula is where the Wild Atlantic Way meets the Causeway Coast. Pristine beaches are par for the course here – less than a mile from your doorstep, secluded Kinnagoe Bay is one of the best, surrounded by tree-lined cliffs and with crystal-clear waters. Six miles south, Moville lies on the western banks of Lough Foyle. Once a port of call for transatlantic liners, the town offers a fine choice of restaurants, inns, and retail opportunities.

Location

Reviews

In general the cottage did not lack anything we were wishing for. It was advertised for a stay with pets (two dogs) and the property was definitely dimensioned for it as well. Our two doggies felt as much homely as we did. It was enough space overall and it is located in a very quiet area, which we like very much. Below question reg. recommending this to others: already done!

Mr H,

The house is very cosy, we enjoyed to stay here ! The orner are very gentle and helpful. The location is beautiful and very calme.

Mrs L,

The cottage was excellent, well maintained and perfectly clean. It is very remote but scenery is beautiful.

Mr C,

Great location for exploring Co. Donegal, the amazing basis and beaches. We were lucky with the weather and had a lovely time. Also really easy to pop across on the local car ferry to visit giants causeway and the coast. Very large and comfortable cottage. Enjoyed the fresh spring water too. Thank you

Mr B,

superb accommodation, plenty of room for our family. excellent location very rural and just what we wanted. we found out the power shut down on us a few times but this was probably due to the location. Only went off for a short time.

Mr L,

Really enjoyed our holiday here The house was excellent Very well hidden from the road with sea views and mountain Clean and well presented We had everything we needed Had a bit of difficulty getting in on the first day as we had never come across a house where you put in a number and got the keys but we quickly got on to it Would recommend it

Mrs R,
