Description
This spacious detached home is in a fine location overlooking the shores of Cruit Island, with only a 1-mile walk down to an exceptionally beautiful beach. Its crystal waters make it popular with locals and visitors for its swimming opportunities. Golfers are well-served thanks to the 9-hole course (3 miles), which perches on the edge of the wild and rugged Atlantic Ocean and is suitable for scratch players and fresh beginners. There's plenty to see and do, from the fishing port of Burtonport (4 miles) offering ferry trips to the surrounding islands to the pretty village of Annagry (4 miles), boasting a beautifully restored distillery and many mountaineering opportunities.
On entering this charming cottage, step straight into the sunroom to admire the outstanding views while settling down on the comfy sofa. This is an ideal space to relax at the end of a wonderful day of exploration. If you prefer to socialise with the whole group, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is the perfect spot, with a toasty wood burner and satellite TV to entertain every member. The kitchen has a rustic interior and offers a wide range of equipment to dish up delicious meals, including an electric hob/oven, fridge/freezer, and microwave, while the dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer make it a fuss-free stay. On the ground floor, there is also one peaceful king-size with an en-suite shower room, and upstairs, a double and a single room share use of the additional shower room and WC.
Outside, the garden has a large lawn with a great deal of space for kids and dogs to play. The garden has seating to soak up the impressive views.
