Sleeping four over two peaceful bedrooms, this property is ideal for people who want to be close to the coast and countryside. Take a picnic or go for a stroll along Bantry Beach (9 miles) or spend the day wandering the trails at beautiful Glengarriff Woods (3 miles) before returning to this charming property for a great night’s sleep.
The property, which is accessed via a long driveway, is spacious and welcoming. The open-plan living area is fresh and bright thanks to large patio doors out to the garden. However, when draw the curtains and light the fire in the evening, it becomes a cosy haven to relax in on the sofas. Stunning tiled flooring in the kitchen area makes it a pleasure to cook meals in; dine together at the table or sizzle up a BBQ on the patio in the summer months, surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. At bedtime, snuggle between the sheets in the double or twin room; both have peaceful neutral decor and soft lighting that’ll help you drift off in no time. And when you need to wake up with an invigorating shower, the bright and airy shower room awaits.
Head off to Glengariff (2 miles) for boat trips to Garnish Island with its fascinating exotic gardens. The adventurers among you will love the boating centre at Adrigole Harbour (13.5 miles) where you can hire kayaks and sailing boats. Take the kids to Bantry Pony Trekking (11.5 miles) and watch their faces light up as they head through ancient woodland on horseback, or enjoy a magical day at Bamboo Park Glengarriff (1.5 miles) which features 30 different species of bamboo.
