Located at the head of Dunmanus Bay where the Sheep’s Head and Mizen Head Peninsulas meet, the village of Durrus (2.5 miles) offers easy access to the Sheep’s Head Way, the Beara Way and the Drimoleague Heritage Walks, as well as a great selection of local pubs and restaurants renowned for serving locally sourced produce. Closer to home, over 3 acres of landscaped gardens await to be explored from the doorstep, with scenic walks that feature an ancient boulder-burial site and magnificent panoramic views. Durrus Pier, 2.5 miles away, and Kilcrohane Pier, 13 miles away, offer a great diversity of fish, perfect for keen anglers.
