Description
Surrounded by pretty countryside with views across Kenmare Bay, you’re guaranteed a peaceful stay at this family-friendly idyll on the Wild Atlantic Way. The smart dormer bungalow has stylish interiors, an enclosed garden with a BBQ, and sits in a secluded spot in the perfect location for enjoying outdoor activities, just 300 metres from the sea and beach.
The property is effortlessly stylish with relaxed decor, furnishings, and wooden floors, and makes the most of its enviable position. Go into the attractive open-plan living space, with a contemporary kitchen, an attractive lounge, and gorgeous views from the dining table where patio doors lead outside. There’s a bathroom and a separate WC on the ground floor along with a double bedroom, and a single room. Bedroom three is upstairs in the loft – another double bedroom. Also up here is a second lounge, and a shower room, plus there are two folding beds. Heading outside, be immersed in nature in the large, enclosed garden with garden furniture on the terrace, a lawn area, and mature planting. Fire up the BBQ and enjoy evenings under the stars together in the most amazing location.
Visit Ardgroom, a pretty village with a shop, pub, and restaurant 2.5 miles away, and discover Ardgroom Stone Circle (5 miles) outside the village. Go for a beautiful walk around Glenbeg Lough (3.5 miles), and head to Star Marina (18.5 miles) to go sailing and kayaking or book a boat trip from there. The ruins of the 15th-century Dunboy Castle (13 miles) are worth seeing as is the colourful town of Kenmare (25 miles), home to some superb places to eat out and a 3,000-year-old stone circle.
